Vaibhav Gupta is Director at MKU Limited and he is spearheading the organization’s objective of building alliance network in the industry.
MKU was founded by Mr. GK Gupta in 1985 to manufacture and supply fibre glass helmets to the Indian Armed Forces.It started manufacturing body armour in the year 2000, when his eldest son, Manoj Gupta, witnessed the inadequate protection and outdated equipment used by Indian soldiers in the unfortunate 1999 Kargil war between India and Pakistan. Manoj resolved to bring the best armour technology to India. He along with his younger brother Neeraj set course for MKU to start developing and manufacturing advanced light weight armour in India. They soon realised that it was a very specialised field which required heavy investments and very large markets to succeed. They decided to make the world their marketplace and embarked on a journey to garner trust, technology, and expertise from across the globe. MKU became the first company outside US and Europe to manufacture light weight composite armour inserts. Today, MKU is at the forefront of technology and expertise in armouring, and is second to none globally. It has already provided protection to over 2 million soldiers and 2000+ platforms across the world. MKU diversified into Electro Optics in the year 2012 and acquired the entire technology to indigenously manufacture night vision and thermal devices in India

Former CMD, NSIC and Director - External Affairs, Power2SME
Dr. H.P. Kumar is Director External Affairs at Power2SME and he is spearheading the organization’s objective of building alliance network in the industry. Dr. Kumar will design innovative programmes and framework to enhance Power2SME’s value proposition for SMEs, Suppliers and financial institutions. With rich experience in leading successful and profitable campaigns to benefit SMEs, Dr. Kumar comes with deep knowledge of SME market. Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in dealing with promotion, development and financing of MSMEs, exports and other small & large projects. Prior to joining Power2SME. He was the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), a govt. of India enterprise engaged in development and financing of SMEs in India. Under his leadership, NSIC was able to achieve a turnover of 17400 crores and became a dividend paying entity with an excellent MOU rating continuously for 7 years, a spectacular shift, from a loss making CPSU prior to his successful tenure.

Mr Seetharam is an entrepreneur and innovator for more than two decades. He is the director of Systhesis Winding Technologies – a manufacturer of Winding Machines and Accessories known for their robust construction and proven performance with cross sectoral application in power, automobile, health care, aerospace and defense. Mr Seetharam is also the Secretary of ELCIA – Electronics City Industries’ Association the only industry cluster which has been formally handed over the responsibility to maintain the Electronics City formally by the state government of Karnataka.
