Mr. Aakash Jain is the Director with CARE Ratings Limited. His domain is Corporate Ratings, SME Ratings and Grading. As the Head of CARE’s business development in Rest Of Maharashtra & Goa, he is responsible for providing tactical impetus to CARE’s business. He was earlier heading South India business(SME & Corporate Ratings) for CARE Ratings. He also looks after strategic tie-ups & initiative of CARE Ratings.

He is from Commerce background & has done Diploma in Cyber Laws & is certified Cyber Crime Investigator. He has also done certification from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Having joined CARE in the year 2013, he has overall experience of more than 10 years in Banking, Insurance & Rating industry.

He has done various Knowledge Sharing Forums & training programs for bankers, MSMEs & Corporates. He has been Speaker at various platforms organized by banks, financial institutions, education institutes, MSMEs etc. He has closely worked with MSME-Di & other MSME promoting government & private agencies on MSMEs upliftment etc.

Having keen interest in academics, he conducts regular guest lectures / training programs in various institutes and other platform in India for the benefit of students, MSMEs, banks etc.

Former CMD, NSIC & Director, External Affairs, Power2SME

Dr. H.P. Kumar is Director External Affairs at Power2SME and he is spearheading the organization’s objective of building alliance network in the industry. Dr. Kumar will design innovative programmes and framework to enhance Power2SME’s value proposition for SMEs, Suppliers and financial institutions. With rich experience in leading successful and profitable campaigns to benefit SMEs, Dr. Kumar comes with deep knowledge of SME market. Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in dealing with promotion, development and financing of MSMEs, exports and other small & large projects. Prior to joining Power2SME. He was the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), a govt. of India enterprise engaged in development and financing of SMEs in India. Under his leadership, NSIC was able to achieve a turnover of 17400 crores and became a dividend paying entity with an excellent MOU rating continuously for 7 years, a spectacular shift, from a loss making CPSU prior to his successful tenure. Before NSIC, he was working with the Union Bank of India and Government of Botswana. He has tremendous experience in dealing with a large number of countries, for promoting international trade relations, cross seas investments, transfer of technologies and handling joint ventures etc. Dr. H. P. Kumar is a qualified Banker from the Indian Institute of Bankers, a professional cost and management accountant (CMA) and holds Ph.D in Rural Industrialisation.
