She is the Managing Partner of an Intellectual Property and Commercial Law Firm, Aletheiaa Legal, which offers services relating to, inter alia, protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights i.e. Trademarks, Copyright, Patent and Designs, Privacy and Data Protection, Confidential Information, Cyber law and Technology; drafting Commercial Agreements and conducting trainings on prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplace.

hospitality, media and entertainment, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and healthcare by
devising strategies for IP adoption, protection, enforcement and commercialization, drafting

Dr. Kumar will design innovative programmes and framework to enhance Power2SME’s value proposition for SMEs, Suppliers and financial institutions. With rich experience in leading successful and profitable campaigns to benefit SMEs, Dr. Kumar comes with deep knowledge of SME market. Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in dealing with promotion, development and financing of MSMEs, exports and other small & large projects. Prior to joining Power2SME. He was the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), a govt. of India enterprise engaged in development and financing of SMEs in India. Under his leadership, NSIC was able to achieve a turnover of 17400 crores and became a dividend paying entity with an excellent MOU rating continuously for 7 years, a spectacular shift, from a loss making CPSU prior to his successful tenure.

Neelam is a seasoned legal professional having 20 years of experience as a corporate counsel. She started her carrier with L&L (previously Luthra & Luthra), one of the leading law firms and after playing a long inning, she joined IBM India and supported large global business transactions of multi jurisdictions. After a long stint of five years with IBM, she took a plunge to start her entrepreneurial debut by co-founding a boutique law firm ‘Legal Orbit’.
Neelam heads Legal Orbit’s M&A, Infrastructure and General Corporate advisory practice. She also acts as a strategic advisor to senior management/ board of directors to her client companies including MNCs and supports them in their strategic decisions of restructuring and/ or business diversifications and expansions in India and abroad. In addition to this, she is also a part of start-up eco system as a Charter Member of TiE (one of the largest entrepreneurship organisations of the world) and mentors various start-ups and through her firm, provides bundled services in shaping their business ideas in the existing legal regime, structuring their business operations in most optimal manner in compliance with applicable laws, preparing them for fund raising, protecting their intellectual property rights and so on.
