Speaker Profile: Mr. Bhushan Parekh
Director – SME, CRISIL Limited
Bhushan Parekh is the Director – SME at CRISIL. In this role, he leads analytics for SME verticals such as institutional, retail, real estate and education sector. In addition, he leads the Transformation initiative at CRISIL overseeing key strategic and digital transformation projects for CRISIL.
Prior to SME, Bhushan held various positions in Analytics, Product Management, Strategy and Risk Management functions, often incubating new business verticals and successfully scaling them up. He has been with CRISIL for close to 14 years.
Bhushan has keen interest in the MSME sector as well as the startup ecosystem. He is a strong believer in the impact that technology can create especially in the MSME ecosystem for the country.
Bhushan has completed Master’s in Management Studies with a specialization in Finance from Mumbai University

Former CMD - NSIC & Director - External Affairs, Power2SME Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. H.P. Kumar is Director External Affairs at Power2SME and he is spearheading the organization’s objective of building alliance network in the industry. Dr. Kumar will design innovative programmes and framework to enhance Power2SME’s value proposition for SMEs, Suppliers and financial institutions. With rich experience in leading successful and profitable campaigns to benefit SMEs, Dr. Kumar comes with deep knowledge of SME market. Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in dealing with promotion, development and financing of MSMEs, exports and other small & large projects. Prior to joining Power2SME. He was the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), a govt. of India enterprise engaged in development and financing of SMEs in India. Under his leadership, NSIC was able to achieve a turnover of 17400 crores and became a dividend paying entity with an excellent MOU rating continuously for 7 years, a spectacular shift, from a loss making CPSU prior to his successful tenure.

Director, Resurgent India Limited
Mr. Sudama Ram, 59 years, is B.Tech. (Mech. Engg.) from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur and MBA (Finance) from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. He has a diverse experience of 35 years in the areas of Project Management, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, Leasing, Investment Banking, Stressed Assets Management, Corporate Advisory and other financial services. He started his career with Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL), a premier organization catering to power sector with end-to-end solutions. After around 3 years in project management, he switched to financial services with the longest stint of 15 years in IFCI Group. He has been helming various NBFCs/Financial Services Companies at the CXO level since 2004. He was MD of IFCI Financial Services Ltd. (2004-2006), COO of ORIX (2006-2009), CEO of STCI Finance (2009-2013), MD & CEO of Peerless Financial Services Ltd. (2013-2016), MD of JCMAN Group (2016-2018). He is currently working as a Director of Resurgent India Ltd.
