He was the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation), a govt. of India enterprise engaged in development and financing of SMEs in India. Under his leadership, NSIC was able to achieve a turnover of 17400 crores and became a dividend paying entity with an excellent MOU rating continuously for 7 years, a spectacular shift, from a loss making CPSU prior to his successful tenure.

He brings in more than 28 years of experience in stakeholder management, financial management across geographies and different businesses, and fund raising with multinational corporations.

He had successful stints with Sun Gumberg (a start-up joint venture) handling India and overseas operations, Royal Dutch Shell Group and its joint venture with Total of France, Vedanta Group, General Motors and its group companies, and the Birla Group. He also had a stint with General Motors’ Asia Pacific HQ in Singapore as Regional Director- Corporate Finance and Treasury where he was responsible for Asia-Pac operations.
